Texas Soccer hosts Red River rival Oklahoma on Sunday, October 20 at 1 p.m. in their final home regular season match (presented by St. David's HealthCare). The match marks the end of a tremendous year for Texas Soccer at Mike A. Myers Stadium. The team has a current home record of 8-0-1, and to give thanks to Longhorns Soccer Nation for your support, UT Athletics is hosting Fan Appreciation Day. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive an envelope with a voucher for a Longhorns prize. Levels of prizes range from koozies and T-shirts up to the grand prize of a $100 gift card! Admission to the match is FREE for students with the Longhorn All-Sports Package (LASP) by showing your UT student ID at the gate.
Senior Day
Celebrate the careers of Brenda Saucedo and Gabby Zarnegar and join the Longhorns for a pre-match recognition of the seniors! Be one of the first 150 fans to stop by the Athletics Marketing table inside Gate 1 and receive the third set of Texas Soccer trading cards, featuring the 2013 Seniors.
Texas Traditions
Celebrate Texas Traditions with the Longhorns soccer team before the match beginning at noon. Bevo XIV, the Longhorns' famed mascot, will be on hand for photo opportunities in addition to Smokey the Cannon and Big Bertha, the world's largest bass drum. Don't forget to bring your camera! Photo opportunities from noon – 1 p.m. (weather permitting). So come early, be loud, stay late, and wear orange at the final home match of 2013!
