UT students have the opportunity to throw their fastest pitch at UFCU Disch-Falk Field and win a "Pizza Party for 10" among other prizes
Participate in UT Athletics' Forty Acres Fastball Challenge on Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. following the Texas Baseball vs. Prairie View A&M game at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The first 75 UT students to register by emailing SOBs@athletics.utexas.edu by Monday, April 29 at 4 p.m. may participate in the competition. Students must check-in on the concourse behind home plate with a valid UT student ID between 6-7 p.m. on gameday.
Immediately following the game, participants will pitch from the pitcher's mound. The UT student who clocks the fastest pitch speed will win a Pizza Party for 10. Other great prizes will be awarded to the top male and female competitors. Don't miss this unique opportunity to test your skills from the mound at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
Remember, all LASP holders receive free admission to 2013 Texas Baseball regular season home games. Don't forget to bring your UT ID to request a ticket at the UFCU Disch-Falk Field box office on gameday.
