Longhorn Network now available on Time Warner Cable

Football season opener vs. New Mexico State will be shown on LHN at 7 p.m. Saturday.
ESPN and Time Warner Cable announced Friday that Longhorn Network (LHN) is now available to Time Warner Cable video subscribers in Texas.
The network, the 24/7 channel devoted to UT Athletics and academics as well as cultural programming from in and around the greater Austin community, is available for Time Warner video customers in Texas on its expanded basic cable service.

The Texas Football team opens the 2013 season at 7 p.m. Central Saturday by playing host to New Mexico State. The game will be shown on LHN, with the pregame show starting at 4:30 p.m.

"We know we count a lot of UT fans among our customers, and we've worked hard with our colleagues at ESPN to finalize an agreement in time to bring them tomorrow's game."
