iHeartmedia Houston to partner with UT for Football and Men's Basketball coverage

Longhorn fans in Houston will hear Football and Men's Basketball games live on Sportstalk 790 AM.
Houston, Texas – iHeartmedia, in conjunction with IMG, announced today that it will be the official radio partner in Houston for The University of Texas football and men's basketball programs. Longhorn fans will be able to hear UT football and men's basketball games live on Sportstalk 790 AM as well as coach's shows and other ancillary programs. In addition, select games will broadcast on Newsradio 740 KTRH and KPRC AM 950.

UT kicks off the college football season against Notre Dame in Austin on Sunday, Sept 4 at 6:30 p.m. CT and the coverage on Sportstalk 790 AM begins with the pregame show at 5:30 p.m. CT.
Any football conflicts with Astros or Rockets will move the Texas games to the 50,000 watt signal KTRH-AM, and any men's basketball conflicts with Rockets or Astros will move the Texas games to KTRH-AM or KPRC-AM.
In addition to the partnership with The University of Texas, Sportstalk 790 AM is also the radio home for the Houston Astros and the Houston Rockets.
