This week in Longhorns Soccer fashion: What's trending on match day.
Tiempos or mercurials? Pre-wrap or a headband? Ice bath or contrast? Slides or tennis shoes? Ice cream or cookies? These questions, and many more, usually have me automatically waking up a minute before my alarm goes off on match day. Answering these questions is truly an art, and the Texas soccer has the routine down. Featured below are the prominent styles of the Texas soccer team. Take notes.

Besides impeccable style, guess what? Your Longhorns are now 2-0 to start the season. This past weekend included a 2-1 victory against Rice on Friday night and a 2-0 win versus Western Kentucky on Sunday. Following the match on Sunday, we celebrated by having a water balloon fight on the field. The staff and coaches initiated the battle, by launching balloons into our post-match huddle. The war broke out as players dodged and finally managed to grab balloons of their own. It got VERY competitive, and director of operations, Alex Kraus, was a main aggressor, hurling balloons at us. We all left the water fight satisfied and soaked. What a surprising treat on such a HOT day! Visit our Instagram account (@TexasLonghornsSoccer) to watch a couple of videos from the fight!
