Greetings Longhorn Nation,
Another incredible weekend of Texas Sports happened right here in Austin! Spending the weekend at the brand-new Texas Tennis Center rooting on Men's and Women's Tennis as both teams won their Big 12 Conference tournaments was thrilling, and I'm already excited about another Tower lighting ceremony! The crowd was electric from start to finish, so here's a big thank you to all who came out.
On top of the conference championships, Texas hosts NCAA Regional competition in Tennis and Women's Golf. No. 7 Women's Golf begins its postseason journey May 7-9 at the NCAA Austin Regional at the UT Golf Club. In Tennis, the men's and women's teams host NCAA First/Second Rounds May 11-13 at the Texas Tennis Center. The women secured a No.6 seed and open against Southland Conference champion McNeese State, while the men earned a No. 11 seed and face Northeast Conference champion Bryant.
Mark your calendars for some exciting NCAA golf and tennis action in the coming days!

Walk-off grand slam lifts No. 24 Baseball to 11-10 win
What a thrilling Baseball game earlier this week vs. Texas State! The Horns were down 10-6 entering the ninth. After walks to junior Masen Hibbeler and sophomore Duke Ellis, junior Kody Clemens singled to right field allowing Hibbeler to score to make it 10-7. Freshman Zach Zubia walked to load the bases, bringing up sophomore David Hamilton. Hamilton took the 3-2 pitch over the right field wall for his third homer of the season and first walk-off grand slam for Texas since Preston Clark in the 2009 NCAA Regional. The Longhorns are on the road this weekend with a Big 12 Conference series at No. 9 Texas Tech. Good luck this weekend!
