2020 U.S. Olympic Team Track & Field Trials begin at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. on Friday.
Texas' first-ever NCAA long jump champion and the first Longhorn (man or woman) to sweep national indoor and outdoor titles, Tara Davis participates in the USATF "Rising Stars" press conference heading into the upcoming Olympic Trials. Davis, who set the indoor and outdoor collegiate records in the long jump this season, enters the Trials with the best long jump mark in the country this year (23-5.25) and the second-best in the world at this time. She was recently named one of four semifinalists for the Honda Sports Award for Track & Field.
