Longhorn Network to air '1963': Texas' Undefeated Run To Title

AUSTIN, Texas - During Saturday's game against Rice, Texas Football will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 1963 National Championship team, the first national title in program history.
Longhorn great David McWilliams, a 1993 Longhorn Hall of Honor inductee who played center and was a captain for the 1963 national champions, and later serve as head coach at Texas from 1987-91, will be the honorary captain and present the coin for the opening coin toss. The Longhorns' undefeated run to the national championship included a 10-6 victory over Rice at a packed Texas Memorial Stadium on Oct. 26 in Austin.
Longhorn Network will air the documentary '1963': Texas' Undefeated Run To Title throughout the week ahead of Saturday's game. Air times for the documentary are:
