AUSTIN, Texas – Together with Truist, congratulations to April's Hook 'Em's Community Heroes: from Rowing, Nadja Yaroschuk, and from Beach Volleyball, Hannah Ogden.
Nadja recognizes the impact reading can have on a person and wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to improve their literacy.
"The skill of reading is essential to daily life, but it also brings a lot of joy and knowledge. I want to help make sure people in all situations have resources to learn how to read and a selection of materials to enjoy!"
Hannah has experience working with healthcare organizations and is looking to continue to support those in need.
"I have always had a passion for providing accessible and affordable healthcare for underprivileged communities. This cause is very important to me, as it provides medical support to families that have very limited access to necessary medical care."
In recognition of their causes, Truist is proud to donate $500 each to organizations that provide support for literacy promotion and healthcare access
