Track and Field Fan Guide
ADA accommodations (see also Fan Services)
- Only service dogs are permitted inside Mike A. Myers Stadium. Any other type of animal is not permitted. The service dog should be wearing identifiable attire and be harnessed or tethered in some fashion. An emotional support animal is permitted on campus grounds and to accompany an individual into his or her University assigned residence in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. However, a support animal is not allowed to accompany the individual into his or her residential dining center or into any other University building. - Concessions: Mike A. Myers Stadium has modified condiment tables for easy access by disabled guests.
- Parking: ADA parking is available on a first come, first served basis in designated spaces. A person with ADA placard or license plate MUST be in the vehicle. ADA spaces are limited and not guaranteed.
- Restrooms: Disabled accessible stalls are located in the men's and women's restrooms under the eastside grandstands of Mike A. Myers Stadium.
- Seating: Ramps on each side of Mike A. Myers Stadium lead to public seating. For any questions concerning availability, call 512-471-3333.
ATM
ATM’s are located inside of Gate 1 and Gate 4. An ATM is also located outside the gates next to the Gate 4 ticket office.
Automotive assistance
Before, during and after the meet, contact the UT Police Department at 512-471-4441 for dead battery and locked car assistance.
Binoculars
Binoculars are permitted in the stadium, subject to inspection at all entrances. Binocular cases are not allowed per the clear bag policy.
Cameras/Video Cameras
Cameras, other than professional cameras with detachable lenses, are allowed in the facility (lenses must be 10 inches or less). No tripods are allowed. No flash photography is allowed. Video cameras are not permitted inside the facility. (Coach/Team video cameras are permitted but must be handheld and cannot be accompanied by a tripod.)
Child ticketing policy
Children under the age of two do not require a ticket as long as the child is held and does not take up a seat.
Clear bag policy
A clear bag policy is in effect at all Texas Athletics venues on the Forty Acres.
Approved bags include:
- Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags
- Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5" x 6.5".
Prohibited bags include:
- Purses
- Diaper bags*
- Cases (camera, binocular, etc.)
- Backpacks
- Fanny packs
- Printed pattern plastic bags
- Reusable grocery totes
- Mesh or straw bags
- Duffle bags
- Large totes
*Items normally carried in a diaper bag must be put into a clear plastic bag for venue entry.
Code of conduct (see also Smoking policy, Standing room only, Prohibited items and Weapons)
Texas Athletics is committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans, staff, players and coaches. To help us provide this first-class environment, we ask that all patrons and attendees follow these guidelines:
- Contribute to making the environment of Texas Athletics the very best by upholding the spirit of collegiate athletics.
- Ensure all fans are treated in a consistent, professional and polite way by all staff and team personnel.
- Support our teams in a positive manner while treating visiting fans, teams and officials with dignity and respect.
- Promote an environment that minimizes disruption, creates a safe atmosphere for all, prevents interference with the game and ensures the enjoyment of the game for everyone.
- Refrain from using foul or abusive language or inappropriate gestures or attire.
- Be responsible when consuming alcoholic beverages. Impairment, intoxication, underage consumption and unruly behavior will be addressed immediately.
- Sit only in the seat designated on your ticket and be prepared to present the ticket, if requested.
- Acknowledge that The University of Texas at Austin is a tobacco-free campus, including e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.
- Comply with emergency messages, emergency procedures and requests from staff concerning the facility and gameday operations.
Refusal to adhere to the guidelines may result in ejection from the facility, without refund. Violation of laws or city ordinances may result in arrest and prosecution. Please report any issues concerning this Code of Conduct to a security guard or event staff personnel.
Concessions
Concessions are located under the eastside grandstands at Mike A. Myers Stadium. All transactions are cashless. Credit and/or debit cards are accepted at all permanent stands. Concession stands offer a variety of food and beverages. No outside food or drink is permitted inside the facility.
Credit cards
Major credit cards are accepted at the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop locations both inside and outside the stadium, as well as all permanent concession stands.
Donation requests
Requests for autographed items for nonprofit/charitable purposes must be submitted to Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop. For more information, refer to the Texas Athletics donation/autograph policy.

Texas Athletics offers fans several choices to receive official updates and other timely news. Visit the Texas Communications page on TexasSports.com to sign up.
Emergency
For any emergency at Mike A. Myers Stadium, including medical emergencies, notify the nearest usher or police officer.
Evacuation
In the event of an emergency, listen for instructions from the public address announcer; stadium ushers and law enforcement will direct you to the closest safe exit. Assist other patrons who may need your assistance. All exits and emergency exits are in the stadium are clearly marked.

Fan Services
For the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, Fan Services staffs an information kiosk located on Robert Dedman Dr. outside of the UT Club entrance on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For more information, please contact Fan Services at FanServices@athletics.utexas.edu or 512-471-7323.
First aid/EMS
Emergency Medical Services from St. David’s HealthCare are stationed in the south east corner of Mike A. Myers Stadium. If you are in need of medical attention, please visit the EMS team, or notify the nearest usher or police officer. Ushers are trained to call for immediate response and assistance in emergency situations.
Gates open
For the general public, gates open 60 minutes prior to the start of the meet.
Heats
Break down of an event when there are too many athletes to compete at the same time. Results from all heats are compiled, when the heats of that particular event are completed.
Heat sheets
For the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, heat sheets are available for $3 at Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop kiosks and list the participating athletes, lane and round assignments for each day of competition.
High school coach entrance
All high school coaches must contact the Texas Track and Field office at 512-471-3931 for meet entry. Coaches are eligible for up to two complimentary tickets. Photo IDs and coaches cards are required to claim your tickets.
Learfield IMG College/Longhorn Sports Properties
Learfield IMG College is Texas Athletics' multimedia rights vendor, which does business in Austin as Longhorn Sports Properties (LSP). LSP produces and delivers conventional over-the-air radio, with Austin Radio Network's affiliate 104.9 FM "The Horn" serving as flagship station. LSP also represents all corporate sponsorship sales for Texas Athletics and the Frank Erwin Center, including those elements appearing in signage, gameday publications, consumer and retail promotions, and video. UFCU Longhorns Kids Club
The UFCU Longhorns Kids Club is for children in 8th grade and under. Lost and found
During the meet, lost items should be reported to an usher. These items are kept for the duration of the meet. After that period of time, they are taken to the UT Police Department. UTPD can be reached by calling 512-471-4441.

Meet dates and times
Texas Track and Field meet dates and times are subject to change. In the event a meet date or time change should occur, the information is immediately posted on TexasSports.com and also communicated through the local media.

Noisemakers
Big 12 Conference and NCAA rules prohibit artificial noisemakers from being brought inside the stadium. This includes, but is not limited to, all horns (including air horns), cow bells and whistles. Prohibited items will be confiscated.

Programs
For the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, meet programs are available at any Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop stand in the stadium on the day of the meet.
Prohibited items
Texas Athletics is committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans, staff, players, and coaches. This Prohibited Items list is subject to change.
- Artificial noisemakers (bells, horns, kazoos, whistles, etc.)
- These items can cause distractions for participants and officials in the game.
- Non-clear bags and clear bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12" (See Clear Bag Policy)
- Brooms, banners, flags, flag poles, signs, umbrellas, etc.
- Cameras with detachable lenses greater than 10", video cameras and tripods
- The sale of images of current student-athletes is against NCAA rules and risks the eligibility of Texas student-athletes. Additionally, any commercial use of photos of UFCU Disch-Falk Field, campus landmarks, or identifiable campus elements is prohibited without the prior written approval of the University.
- Coolers
- Explosive and flammable materials, disabling chemicals and other dangerous items
- Food
- Snacks needed for medical purposes are allowed.
- No other outside food is permitted.
- Water: One sealed (soft plastic) bottle of water (up to one liter) is permitted. No other outside beverages or beverage containers are permitted (including Yeti or similar products)
- Free water fountains are available to refill.
- Should you need water or hydration support, our St. David’s EMS partners can assist you.
- Items deemed a safety hazard or annoyance (Frisbees, balloons, projectiles, laser pointers, fireworks, firearms, weapons, etc.)
- Pets (except service dogs)
- Only service dogs are allowed into the stadium. Any other type of animal is not permitted.
- Texas Athletics operates under the same rules and regulations as the UT Austin campus. As such, we only permit service dogs into our venues.

- Strollers
- Use of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and smokeless cigarettes/tobacco
- The University of Texas became a tobacco-free campus in 2012. The use of any tobacco products -- including e-cigarettes and smokeless cigarettes/tobacco -- is prohibited in university buildings and on university grounds within the state of Texas, including parking areas and structures, sidewalks, walkways, and university-owned buildings.
- Weapons
- The Campus Carry law (S.B. 11) does not pertain to sporting events on campus. No weapons of any kind are permitted in Texas Athletics sporting events. For full details on Campus Carry, visit UTexas.edu.
- Texas Athletics will allow 3.4 oz. individual-sized hand sanitizer bottles, sanitary wipes, and all applicable medical exceptions for the 2021-22 season.
Radios
Hand-held and pocket-sized portable radios are allowed in the stadium. Please be considerate of other patrons and use an earpiece or headphones to listen to your radio.
Rain delays
Postponement of races and events due to inclement weather will be announced over the public address system immediately. Fans are required to clear the stands until severe weather is out of the area. Shelter is available underneath the stadium and in Manor Garage, which is adjacent to Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Re-entry policy
Patrons must scan their ticket out and scan it back in to re-enter the facility.
Resale of tickets
Per University of Texas Regents' Rules (Chapter VI, Section 6): The resale of athletics tickets, for any amount of money, on a University of Texas property, constitutes solicitation and is strictly prohibited unless permitted as defined by the Regents' Rules and Regulations. Subjects found soliciting on University of Texas property can receive a criminal trespass warning and will be required to leave University of Texas property immediately or be subject to arrest for criminal trespass.

Security (also see Prohibited items)
- Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the facility or the teams may be ejected from the stadium. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the stadium. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the meet. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest.
- You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the stadium. By tendering your ticket and entering the facility, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against The University of Texas. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the stadium.
- To report an incident in your seating area, please notify the usher, security guard or UT police officer at the entrance nearest to your seat. After the meet, please email questions@athletics.utexas.edu with all gameday-related questions or concerns.
Smoking and tobacco policy
The University of Texas at Austin is a tobacco-free campus. This policy prohibits the use of any tobacco products on campus grounds, including parking areas, parking structures, lawns and sidewalks. All forms of tobacco including, but not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff and chewing tobacco, are banned from campus.

Special announcements
Special announcements on the public address system and scoreboard are limited to medical and police emergencies. Mike A. Myers Stadium does not announce or display birthday, anniversary or other personal messages on the public address system or scoreboard.
Standing room
Every ticket has a seat or general admission assignment. Patrons with reserved seats should go to their seat locations. General admission patrons should be seated in their appropriate areas. Ushers are instructed to keep the aisles clear. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the aisles clear for other patrons.
Tailgating

- Tailgating is permitted on certain grass areas surrounding Mike A. Myers Stadium. Signage is subject to approval by IMG College/Longhorn Sports Marketing and Texas Athletics. Remember to throw away your trash and to recycle your aluminum, plastic, and glass.
- To ensure fan safety, tailgating is prohibited on any level of university parking structures. Parking structures are not designed for activities unrelated to the parking of vehicles. Prohibited tailgating related activities in these spaces include, but are not limited to:
- The use of open flames, grilling, smokers, and/or fryers
- Use of portable generators or unauthorized use of university power
- Use of tents, awnings, or temporary shelters, including portable chairs
- Loitering for the purpose to observe an event

Ticket Resolution
All tickets are mobile tickets. Any fans that need assistance with their mobile tickets can visit the Ticket Office at Gate 1 or Gate 4 at Mike A. Myers Stadium. The ticket office opens an hour prior to the meet start.
Video cameras
Video cameras are not permitted inside the facility. (Coach/Team video cameras are permitted but must be handheld and cannot be accompanied by a tripod.)
Water fountains
Water fountains are located adjacent to the concession stands under the eastside grandstands of Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Weapons
No weapons of any kind are permitted in Mike A. Myers Stadium or any designated UT venue. This policy includes weapons used by off-duty law enforcement officers. Firearms must be secured at either the UT Police Department (corner of Dedman and Littlefield drives) or within an individual's vehicle.
