2013 - Imani McGee-Stafford
JAMIE CAREY COMEBACK AWARD
Honors a student-athlete who has experienced and worked to overcome adversity during her intercollegiate athletics experience. The award, presented by UT Athletics, is named for former basketball student-athlete Jamie Carey. Her return to competition after missing several seasons due to post-concussion symptoms inspired UT to a 2003 NCAA First Four appearance and its first Big 12 Championship title.

EDITH AND DARRELL K ROYAL COCA-COLA SOLID CITIZEN AWARD
For overall dedication to academic, athletics, community service, leadership, and citizenry. The award is provided by Austin Coca-Cola Bottling Company, a long-time supporter of UT Athletics, and Coca-Cola, an official corporate sponsor of UT Athletics.

JILL A. STERKEL LEADERSHIP AWARD
Established by the Women's Athletics Council, this award honors the first truly outstanding world-class female athlete to attend UT and participate in the women's intercollegiate athletics program. Jill Sterkel was a four-time Olympic swimmer and a two-time gold medalist. She earned the National Collegiate Female Athlete of the Year award -- the Broderick Cup -- in 1981-82. Sterkel is also a former world record-holder in the sprint freestyle. The Jill A. Sterkel Leadership Award is given annually to a student-athlete whose exceptional athletic accomplishments have brought national or international recognition to The University of Texas and whose leadership, competitive attitude and personal graciousness epitomize those characteristics reflected by Jill Sterkel.
