Carly Northup, Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director
Carly Northup was elevated to Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director in March 2026 after serving as Senior Associate Athletics Director for the Longhorn Foundation since September 2022. Since Northup arrived on the Forty Acres, the Longhorn Foundation has recorded its highest number of donors, major gift pledges, and dollars raised in consecutive years. In 2023-24, the Foundation recorded a historic $198 million in new gifts and pledges, including $74.4 million in cash to the annual fund, the most since the Foundation began in 1986. Of that total, more than $13M was designated to Longhorn Excellence, the philanthropic arm of the annual fund, more than doubling the previous all-time best amount. In a statement following her elevation, Northup said, "I'm honored and incredibly grateful to Chris Del Conte for the opportunity to continue supporting Longhorn student-athletes at the highest level. The strength of our department is built on the passion and generosity of our amazing donors, and I look forward to continue working alongside you all in creating transformative opportunities for Texas student-athletes to succeed academically and athletically." Prior to The University of Texas, Northup served as the Associate Vice President/Senior Associate Athletics Director at Rutgers University. She also spent time at Virginia Tech, the University of Missouri, and West Virginia University in various roles of increasing responsibility within athletic development. Northup earned her bachelor’s in English and Psychology from Liberty University and a master’s in Sport Management and Administration from West Virginia University. Currently residing in Austin, Northup enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends, including her cat Bailey. |

Darlene Camacho, Senior Associate Athletics Director - Special Events, Suites & Hospitality
Darlene Camacho rejoined the Longhorn Foundation in September 2022 as Senior Associate Athletics Director. Camacho oversees engagement for the Longhorn Foundation including hospitality, suite services, and special events. Prior to her return to the Forty Acres, Camacho served as Executive Associate Athletics Director at the University of Georgia after five years as the Assistant Athletics Director for Donor Relations and Engagement in the Longhorn Foundation. Camacho earned her bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently residing in Austin, Camacho enjoys traveling, cooking and being the fun aunt to Shelby, Elizabeth, Grace, Courtney, Cheyanne, Brycen and Jackson Daniel.

Karen Machacek, Sr. Manager, Special Events Planning & Operations
Karen Machacek joined the Longhorn Foundation in 2023 as a Senior Manager, Special Events. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Karen worked for the Facilities, Events and Operations department of Texas Athletics since 2008. Originally from Brenham, Texas, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading and traveling. |

Robert Colorado, Assistant Manager, Event Operations
Robert Colorado joined the Longhorn Foundation as the Assistant Manager of Event Operations in July 2023. Colorado comes from Texas State where he served as the Director of Facilities and Game Operations. Colorado oversaw event management for volleyball, soccer, softball, and men’s basketball, as well as assisted with facility and rental management for all facilities. Prior to Texas State, Colorado started at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio where he was the Facilities and Game Operations Coordinator. While working, Colorado simultaneously pursued his bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science and graduated in May 2021. Colorado assisted with operations for the 2021 NCAA Women’s Division I Basketball Tournament at St. Mary’s, and he was also an official statistician at the Alamodome for the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight rounds. During his free time, the El Paso native enjoys cooking, golfing and is a lifelong Longhorn fan. |

Tommy Harmon, Senior Director, Principal Gifts
Forever remembered as one of the premier catchers in Texas Baseball history, Tommy Harmon currently serves the Longhorn Foundation in a fundraising role. Following his collegiate career at The University of Texas at Austin, Harmon enjoyed an eight-year professional baseball career and then embarked on a coaching journey that eventually saw him become the youngest coach in the National League as the Chicago Cubs' bullpen coach in 1982. Harmon then served as a Texas Baseball assistant and associate head coach (1989-96, 2004-12). Harmon received his bachelor's degree from Texas in 1975 and, for his accomplishments at Texas and over his career, was inducted into the Longhorn Hall of Honor in the fall of 1993. He and his wife, Debbie, have two children, Mark and Sarah, who both graduated from The University of Texas. |

Brett Bell, Assistant Athletics Director of Development, Leadership Giving
Brett Bell joined the Longhorn Foundation in December 2019. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Bell served Texas Development as a Leadership Annual Giving Fellow. He has also spent time working for Texas Christian University Athletics as a graduate assistant and the Big 12 Conference as a championships assistant. Originally from Flower Mound, Texas, Bell earned his bachelor’s in sport management from the University of North Texas where he was a member of the men’s basketball team. He received a master’s degree in higher educational leadership and administration from TCU in 2019. In his free time, Bell enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, watching sports and staying active. |

Joey Cutting, Director of Development, Leadership Giving
Joey Cutting joined the Longhorn Foundation in March 2024. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Cutting served as the Associate Director of Major Giving with Gator Boosters at the University of Florida. He also spent time at Western Carolina University as the Assistant Director of the Catamount Club. Originally from the mountains in Western North Carolina, Cutting attended UNC Asheville and was a four-year letterman on the men’s soccer team. He then earned his master's in sport and recreation leadership at James Madison University where he was a graduate assistant for Athletics Marketing. During his free time, Cutting is an avid fly fisherman and outdoors enthusiast. |

Tanner Sanders, Director of Development, Leadership Giving
Tanner Sanders joined the Longhorn Foundation in August 2022. Sanders joins the Longhorn Foundation by way of Oregon State University where he served as a premium sales manager. Prior to his time as an Oregon State employee, Sanders served The University of Nevada as an account manager and donor services representative. Born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon, Sanders attended Oregon State University where he obtained a bachelor’s of science in speech communications in 2018. Sanders was a three-sport student-athlete at Oregon State, competing on the varsity levels for football, men’s basketball, and baseball for the Beavers. Post-graduation, Sanders arrived on the Forty Acres to serve as a graduate assistant within the Texas Athletic Department. Sanders earned his master’s of education with an emphasis on sports management in 2021 from Texas, while assisting the event operations and facilities team for the Longhorns. During his free time, Sanders enjoys golfing, being on the water, watching sports, and spending time with friends & family. |

Alisha Erves, Director of Development, Leadership Giving
Alisha Erves joined the Longhorn Foundation in August 2022. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Erves served as the Assistant Director, Major Gifts at Georgia Southern University. Originally from Tyrone, Georgia, Erves earned her bachelor’s in communication from the University of Tennessee at Martin where she was a member of the women’s volleyball team. She received a master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in communication studies in 2019. During her free time, Erves enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. |

Pat Modaff, Associate Director of Development, Leadership Giving
Pat Modaff joined the Longhorn Foundation in March 2024. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Modaff served as the Director of Major Gifts at Appalachian State University. Originally from Grand Haven, Michigan, Modaff earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Davenport University where he was a member of the men’s hockey team. He received his master’s degrees from Ohio University in business administration and sport administration in 2022 while serving as a graduate assistant in the Ohio Bobcat Club. During his free time, Modaff enjoys cooking, kayaking, and golfing. |

James Tyng, Associate Director of Development, Leadership Giving
James Tyng joined the Longhorn Foundation in November 2023. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Tyng worked at Moody Center in premium sales. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Tyng earned his bachelor’s in sport management from The University of Texas at Austin. In his free time, Tyng enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing golf, and South Texas. |

Jordan Hemphill, Assistant Director of Development, Leadership Giving
Jordan Hemphill joined the Longhorn Foundation in July 2025. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Hemphill served as the Assistant Director of Athletics Development, Major Gifts at the University of Iowa. Originally from Bentonville, Arkansas, he earned his bachelor's degree in communication from Radford University, where he was a member of the men's basketball team. He later earned his master's degree in sport and recreation management from the University of Iowa in 2023, where he served as a development and marketing assistant. In his free time, Hemphill enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog, staying active, and watching sports. |

Mac McAlhany, Assistant Director of Development, Leadership Giving
Mac McAlhany joined the Longhorn Foundation in July 2025. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, McAlhany served as the Assistant Director of Development & Membership Services for Clemson Athletics and IPTAY. He also spent time at the University of Tennessee as a Development Assistant for the Tennessee Fund. McAlhany is a proud alumnus of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he graduated in 2023 and assisted both the men's and women's basketball teams as a manager and practice player. Outside of work, McAlhany enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf and basketball, and watching sports. |

Kevin Collins, Assistant Athletics Director, Annual Fund
Kevin Collins joined Texas Athletics and the Longhorn Foundation in July 2013. Collins is responsible for leading the fundraising efforts of the Annual Fund. His responsibilities include management of priority seating, Longhorn Excellence, DDLT and the annual giving strategy of the Longhorn Foundation. Prior to his time at Texas, Collins completed a year-long internship with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. He also spent time as a ticket operations assistant and development intern for the University of Delaware. A native of Merrick, New York, Collins graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in sport management from the Lerner School of Business and Economics. He received a master's degree in sport administration from Ohio University in 2016. When not cheering on the Longhorns, Kevin and his wife Callie enjoy traveling, exploring Austin, and spending time with friends and family. |

Mitchell Mai, Associate Director of Development, Annual Fund
Mitchell Mai joined the Longhorn Foundation in 2022. He served the team as a Communications Coordinator for a year, before transitioning to the Annual Fund team in June of 2023. Mai comes to Austin after a brief stint at UT-Arlington as an Assistant Director of Marketing. Prior to working in the state of Texas, Mai was a graduate assistant at Maryville University in St. Louis for one year before being promoted to a full-time sports information director position. Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Mai then traveled south for undergrad and earned his bachelor's in recreation and sport management from the University of Arkansas in 2020. He transitioned straight into graduate school after his time in Arkansas and earned his master's of business administration from Maryville University in 2022. Mitchell and his wife, Dani, reside near downtown Austin and spend their free time exploring the Town Lake trail, hanging out with their cat Nala, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. |

Samantha Maxwell, Assistant Director of Development, Annual Fund
Samantha Maxwell joined the Longhorn Foundation in August 2025. Prior to joining the Longhorn Foundation, Maxwell served as Assistant Athletic Director of Development at the University of Akron, where she oversaw the Zips Athletic Club's Annual Fund efforts, alumni relations, game day operations, and more. Before her time at Akron, she worked at her alma mater at Fresno State as a Development Coordinator in the Bulldog Foundation. A native of Fresno, California, Maxwell earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Communications with an emphasis in Marketing and Public Relations from Fresno State. She completed her masters of business administration at the University of Akron in 2025. |

Tommy Beebe, Coordinator, Development Communications
Tommy Beebe joined the Longhorn Foundation in August 2024 as the Coordinator of Development Communications. Before joining the Longhorn Foundation, Beebe worked as a Graduate Assistant for Texas Athletics in the Athletic Communications department where he wrote articles for texaslonghorns.com, helped record live stats, and assisted the media. Tommy also has experiences in Sports Marketing and Fan Engagement with stints at Spurs Sports & Entertainment and the Kenosha Kingfish of the Northwoods League. His primary responsibilities include creating, planning, and distributing all donor-related communications in addition to assisting the Longhorn Foundation on the Annual Fund team. Originally from Midland, Texas, Beebe graduated with a master's in Sport Management from The University of Texas at Austin in May of 2024 after completing a bachelor's in Strategic Communication with a minor in Marketing from Hardin-Simmons University in May of 2022. Tommy enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing pickup basketball, attending live sporting events, and serving at church through sports ministry. |
