Placement on the waitlist is determined by Longhorn Foundation membership and loyalty points, ensuring a transparent and equitable selection process.

Football New Season Ticket Waitlist Information
The deadline to join the 2026 Texas Football season ticket waitlist will be in March.
There is no ticket pre-payment required but fans must be annual Longhorn Foundation donors (minimum of $50 annual gift) to be selected for the opportunity to purchase season tickets.
To receive a timeslot for the online season ticket and parking selection, payment for season tickets, parking and applicable seat-gifts will be due at the time of selection. Gifts made to Longhorn Excellence to increase priority prior to seat selection may not be applied to required seat gifts.

How can I earn Loyalty Points?
Foundation members and season ticket holders earn Loyalty Points based on past donation and purchase history dating back to 1986, the first year of the Longhorn Foundation. Points are awarded as follows:
- + 5 points per $100 donation for Longhorn Excellence (non-seat-related) gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 5 points per $100 donation for capital gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 5 points per $100 donation for endowment gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 2 points per $100 donation for annual seat-related gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 3 points per $100 donation for all gifts and donations received from 1986-2014
- + 1 point per season ticket account for all ticketed sports since 1987
- + 5 points per $100 donation for the Longhorn Foundation student membership
If your Longhorn Foundation becomes inactive because you have not maintained your membership by making a donation or purchasing season tickets, your Loyalty Points will no longer be displayed on your account. Because the Texas Baseball season ticket renewal rate is consistently high, inventory available for new season ticket sales each year is very limited. Annual donations and membership levels to the Longhorn Foundation change from year-to-year making it virtually impossible to estimate a time frame within which fans will have the opportunity to purchase Texas Baseball season tickets.
Softball New Season Ticket Waitlist Information
The deadline to join the 2027 Texas Softball new season ticket waitlist will be in November.

What are Loyalty Points?
The Loyalty Points System rewards lifetime loyalty for all season ticket holders and Longhorn Foundation members. Loyalty Points determine priority for season ticket seat selection and upgrades for all sports, Allstate Red River Rivalry, football away games, postseason events for all sports, and football parking.
How can I earn Loyalty Points?
Foundation members and season ticket holders earn Loyalty Points based on past donation and purchase history dating back to 1986, the first year of the Longhorn Foundation. Points are awarded as follows:
- + 5 points per $100 donation for Longhorn Excellence (non-seat-related) gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 5 points per $100 donation for capital gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 5 points per $100 donation for endowment gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 2 points per $100 donation for annual seat-related gifts received after Sept. 1, 2014
- + 3 points per $100 donation for all gifts and donations received from 1986-2014
- + 1 point per season ticket account for all ticketed sports since 1987
- + 5 points per $100 donation for the Longhorn Foundation student membership
If your Longhorn Foundation becomes inactive because you have not maintained your membership by making a donation or purchasing season tickets, your Loyalty Points will no longer be displayed on your account. Once you re-activate your membership by making a donation and/or purchasing season tickets, your Loyalty Points will be displayed on your account.

Timeslots for seat selection are based on Longhorn Foundation Loyalty Points rank. Improve your priority with increased gifts to Longhorn Excellence which earn five Loyalty Points per $100.
