A native of Conroe, Texas, Brown graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2013. She was a member of Texas Pom from 2010-13, serving as a co-captain during the 2011-12 year and a captain for the 2012-13 squad.
"I am so excited to announce Blair Brown as the next head coach of Texas Cheer and Pom," Associate Athletics Director Rebecca Haden said. "In her years as Assistant Coach, Blair has proven herself to be an invaluable influence on the lives of our Cheer and Pom members. She will continue to elevate the program and prepare our kids for leadership beyond college."
