Xavier registered a 22-12 overall record (13-7 BIG EAST) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament First Round during the 2024-25 season. Entering postseason play, the Musketeers led the BIG EAST and ranked ninth nationally in fastbreak points (15.2 ppg) and were second in the conference and sixth nationally in free throw percentage (.794). Anderson began his coaching career as a graduate manager for Arizona in the 2021-22 season. The Wildcats registered a 33-4 overall mark, swept the Pac-12 regular-season (18-2 record) and tournament titles, advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 and were tabbed No. 2 in the final Associated Press rankings. That Arizona squad featured four players who went on to be selected in the NBA Draft, including Bennedict Mathurin (No. 6 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers), Dalen Terry (No. 18 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls), Christian Koloko (No. 33 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors) and Pelle Larsson (No. 44 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets).

Following his junior year at Boston College, Anderson transferred to Arizona and sat out the 2014-15 season due to NCAA transfer rules. Anderson was one of five finalists for the Karl Malone Award as the nation’s top power forward and earned first-team All-Pac-12, first-team NABC All-District and USBWA All-District accolades. He became the first Arizona player to average a double-double over a season since Jordan Hill in 2008-09 and was only the second in the Sean Miller era (joined by Deandre Ayton in 2017-18, Ayton was the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft) to accomplish the feat.
A native of Long Beach, Calif., Anderson earned his bachelor’s degree in Human and Social Behavioral Studies from the University of Arizona in 2016.
