COVERING THE MEET
- Credentials are granted to authorized working press, University of Texas approved officials and game management personnel only.
- Media organization identification and the name of the media member covering the game for that outlet are required for every credential.
- Credentials are not transferable. Media members who need to alter their original request must email Texas Relays Media Coordinator Ryan Tewes.
- The University of Texas and the NCAA prohibit the issuance of press credentials to representatives of any organization that regularly publishes or otherwise promotes the advertising of "tout sheets" or "tip sheets" or other advertising designed to encourage gambling on collegiate sporting events.
- The University of Texas will not grant press credentials to any media members who actively promote or encourage gambling on collegiate sporting events, including those who endorse or interview gambling organizations.
- Space in the Mike A. Myers Stadium press box and on the sidelines is limited. Working space and credentials will be allotted based on the following priority guidelines:
- Daily newspapers covering for next-day publication (based on circulation)
- Wire services and national publications
- UT website partners and visiting university website partners
- Officially recognized University of Texas and visiting university student newspapers, publications and news outlets
- University of Texas-approved publications covering the Longhorns on an exclusive basis
- Website reporters with a primary focus on track and field
- Non-daily newspapers or publications reporting on the event
- Daily newspapers covering for next-day publication (based on circulation)
