Women's Tennis signs Canadian to National Letter of Intent

AUSTIN, Texas -- University of Texas Head Women's Tennis Coach Jeff Moore announced the receipt of a National Letter of Intent from Marija Milic. Milic will join the Longhorns for the 2005-06 season.
"Marija brings some different qualities to our team," Moore said. "She is a serve and volleyer with a one-hand backhand. She will make an immediate impact, especially in doubles."
Milic hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where she is ranked No. 7 on the Canadian Junior National circuit. In August 2004, Milic competed in the Canadian Junior National Championships where she advanced to the quarterfinals in singles and the semifinals in doubles.
