Texas Athletics Sports Medicine is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of every student-athlete in UT's 20 intercollegiate sports programs. The staff consists of board certified, state licensed athletic trainers, sports physical therapists and fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians with varied experiences and expertise. In addition, St. David's Healthcare staff members assist in staffing our medical clinic with triage, clinical support and concierge medical services.
Student-athletes safely and efficiently return to their sport thanks to state-of-the-art technology that aids in injury and illness prevention and diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services. Texas Athletics collaborates with expert clinicians and consultants to assist in fostering both the physical and emotional well-being of all student-athletes and their individual needs.
