TICKETING QUESTIONS
How do I get the best seats?
The Longhorn Foundation uses a point system for annual and cumulative contributions. Donors receive one point for each dollar contributed. Points are used to determine ticket and seating priorities, parking lot locations and other benefits.
Season tickets are renewed and seating locations are retained by fulfilling the annual donation each year and by purchasing the season tickets. Location improvement is based on availability, the donor's request, the annual point total, and the cumulative gift total. Improvement of seat locations can only be accomplished when other season ticket holders release their seats. This is rare. Only a few seats are released each year. Quantity and location of open seats cannot be predicted.
If I am a new donor, how can I order season tickets?
After making your annual contribution, you must request a season ticket application for each sport in which you are interested in obtaining season tickets. Applications will not automatically be sent to you.
Is an annual gift required to protect my seat location?
In order to maintain your current seats, you will be required to make the same annual charitable contribution you made when the tickets were originally allocated. If you move or add seats at any time, your annual contribution will change to the amount you give at that time.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Tickets are only transferrable to an existing spouse. They may not be transferred to children or anyone else.
