POST-MEET QUOTES
HEAD COACH Kim Brackin We've had three consistent weeks of training, and I thought the ladies raced well, but you could certainly see the signs of sluggishness from the heavy lifting and heavy training. But, that's where probably everyone in the country is right now. In some of their non-primary events, we saw some great racing. Karlee Bispo, I think, was a great example of that in her 100 back and 500 free, and then in the 200 IM. She was not concerned that those were not her main events. She just came out and raced well.
The same would be true for Leah Gingrich. She did a great job in the 200 free, 200 fly and 100 fly of just being aggressive and using good racing strategy.Another person that I was pleased with was Natalie Sacco. She has been rehabbing an injury and it was nice to see her get back into the swing of things. It was a confident effort and a confidence builder.
