- The win gives Texas its 11th consecutive 20-win season, which extends the school record. The previous was four (1988-89 to '91-92)
- Texas is now 16-5 all-time against Nebraska, including an 11-0 mark at home

- Scored eight straight points for Texas from 10:58 to 8:29 in the second half
- Set a career high in blocks with two (previous: one, twice)
- Made his 131st career start, improving on his school record
- Played in his 133rd consecutive game, which is third on UT's all-time list behind Brian Boddicker (134 - 2001-04) and James Thomas (134 - 2001-04).
- Reached double figures in scoring for the 22nd time this season and the 91st time in his career
