WHAT: Texas Rowing continues the 2012 fall season with the annual Head of the Colorado. (also referred to as the PumpkinHead Regatta).

MORE ON THE HEAD OF THE COLORADO: The Head of the Colorado is typically a 5,000-meter event held annually on the last Saturday of October, though the course has been shortened to 4,000 meters this year (see course map).

LAST TIME OUT: Texas notched a pair of top-25 finishes last Sunday (Oct. 21) at the Head of the Charles in Boston.
MORE ON THE LONGHORNS: Texas concluded the 2011-12 season by taking second at the Conference USA Championship in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Then-seniors Felicia Izaguirre-Werner, Karli Sheahan and Jackie Gorcyca earned All-Conference USA selections.
Laurel McCaig was selected as the Big 12 Co-Rower of the Year and head coach Carie Graves was named as the Big 12 Co-Coach of the Year after the Longhorns won their fourth straight Big 12 title last season.
