Taylor secures third top-five finish at Phill Hansel Invite

HOUSTON - Texas redshirt junior diver Maren Taylor scored her third top-five finish in as many days Saturday as the Longhorns wrapped up competition at the Phill Hansel Invitational at The University of Houston.
Taylor took fifth place in Saturday's platform diving event with 242.75 points. The All-American took top honors in Thursday's three-meter event, and she added a second-place finish in Friday's one-meter event.
Senior Diana Wilcox placed ninth in the platform event with 223.95 points. Freshman Kristina Hoffmann placed 14th with 204.15 points, and freshman Meghan Houston took 22nd place with 178.90 points.
The Texas swimmers resume fall competition on Thursday, Nov. 29 when the USA Swimming Winter National Championships come to UT's Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
