The Horns for Hope initiative for community enrichment is proud to help raise breast cancer awareness throughout the campus and community, and, most importantly, in people's hearts.
We all have to be allies, even in the sporting arena, to raise awareness in the search for a cure. UT Athletics asks Longhorns fans and the Central Texas community to join us on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. by wearing pink and supporting the cause for the annual Shoot for a Cure when Texas Women's Basketball takes on Oklahoma (presented by AT&T).
UT Athletics is offering special discounted tickets to this game in order to educate the largest crowd possible about breast cancer awareness and breast health initiatives.
Arena Reserved tickets are available for all fans for only $5 by visiting the UT Athletics Special Promotions page of TexasBoxOffice.com and entering the promotional code PINK.
Fans who prefer to order by phone may call 512-232-3865. (The deadline to order by phone is Friday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m.).
Pink pom poms, pink rally towels and breast health educational packets will be distributed on gameday. In addition, Longhorns, LTD. will have a clothing sale with items from 15-50% off retail value, including various pink merchandise.
Fans will also be treated to FREE neck and shoulder rubs, nail polish changes, hand massages, blue oil sensory experiences, lip finishing touches and other fun surprises on the concourse from 4 p.m. until tip off at 5 p.m.
