Statement from Myck Kabongo:
I'm more than excited about being here and I'm looking forward to getting back in the gym with my teammates. It was important to get this out of the way now because we're starting individual workouts later today, and those guys don't need to be waiting around on me. I'm all in with those guys. This really isn't about me, it's about our team. We take great pride in wearing that Texas uniform, and we all want to do more.
Statement from Head Coach Rick Barnes:
Our entire staff is happy about Myck and how all of our current freshmen have gone about their business since the season ended. Myck grew a lot this year, both on and off the court, and he has a tremendous work ethic. The expectation is, with that work ethic, Myck will continue to make tremendous strides.
