UT resumes its 2014 spring season this week when it hosts the eight-team Longhorn Invitational. The regatta features Texas, Yale, UCF, Kansas State, Oklahoma, San Diego, Canisius and Tulsa.
The Longhorn Invitational features two-lane, head-to-head racing on a 2,000-meter course. For the second straight year, the Longhorn Invitational will include a scoring system and an overall team champion.
WHEN:
Saturday, March 22 – 8:00-11:10 a.m. | 4:00-7:50 p.m. (times are subject to change)
Sunday, March 23 – 8:00-11:30 a.m. (times are subject to change)
WHERE: Lady Bird Lake – Austin, Texas; Spectators can view races from the Roberta Crenshaw Footbridge beneath the Mopac Expressway on the banks of Lady Bird Lake
RESULTS: Unofficial results will be posted throughout the Longhorn Invitational at Twitter.com/TexasRowing and on this page after each session.
