Hardee to compete Friday in American Track League event

Silver medalist one of a number of high-profile athletes to compete at Texas State
Olympian Trey Hardee is one of a number of high-profile athletes who will compete Friday evening in an American Track League event at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
Hardee, the 2012 Olympic silver medalist in the decathlon, is scheduled to compete in the pole vault.
Among those expected to compete are Ashton Eaton, who edged Hardee for gold in the decathlon at the 2012 Olympics, and Lolo Jones, a two-time World champion in the 60-meter hurdles.
In addition, current UT volunteer assistant coach and 2011 NCAA heptathlon champion Miller Moss will compete in the 110-meter hurdles.
The event is free of charge and begins at 7 p.m. Central at the Texas State Track and Field Stadium.
The men's events include the 300m, 1500m, 110mh 400mh, and pole vault. The women will compete in the 100m, 800m, 100mh, 400mh and long jump.
