COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Incoming University of Texas freshman Myles Turner posted five points, four rebounds and a game-high four blocked shots to help Team USA to a 118-64 victory against Argentina in the team's third game of the 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship on Sunday evening. Turner started the game and converted 2-of-4 field goals and 1-of-1 free throw in 14 minutes of action.
With the win, the Americans concluded Group B pool play with a 3-0 record. Through the first three contests, Turner leads Team USA with 12 total blocked shots.
Team USA will face Dominican Republic in the semifinals on Monday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m. Central. The medal games are scheduled for Tuesday, June 24.
