CHICAGO – Texas Women's Basketball signees Lashann Higgs (Round Rock, Texas) and Jordan Hosey (Pearland, Texas) will play in in the 14th Annual Girls McDonald's All American Game at the United Center on Wednesday (5:30 p.m. Central, ESPNU).
All 48 boys and girls McDonald's All American Game participants have been in Chicago since Saturday, March 28 preparing for the game and participating in various community service events.
Higgs and Hosey are the 13th and 14th McDonald's All American Game participants who have signed with The University of Texas. It marks the second consecutive year that two UT signees will play in the game, following current freshmen Ariel Atkins and Brooke McCarty. Five McDonald's All-Americans are slated to be on the Longhorns' roster next season -- Atkins, Higgs, Hosey, McCarty and Imani McGee-Stafford.
