Longhorns go wire-to-wire as a top 10 team, represented four times in individual rankings.
Notes on Texas in the final ITA Rankings
• Texas Men's Tennis was ranked in top 10 of the ITA Rankings for the entire 2014-15 season after finishing No. 9 in the final poll. The Longhorns were also represented four times in the final individual rankings -- three in singles and one in doubles.
• It is the 12th time Texas has finished in the top 10 of the ITA Rankings, which began in 1981.
• After winning the NCAA Doubles Championship title, Lloyd Glasspool and Søren Hess-Olesen jumped 13 spots to No. 6 in the final doubles rankings.
• At No. 6 in singles, senior All-American Søren Hess-Olesen is the sixth Texas student-athlete to finish in the top 10 of the ITA singles poll. Hess-Olesen, the 2015 ITA Senior Player of the Year, has been ranked in 42 consecutive singles polls dating back to Feb. 16, 2012.
• Senior Lloyd Glasspool finishes his career ranked No. 29 in the singles poll. Glasspool earned ITA All-America honors in both singles and doubles this season.
• Senior Adrien Berkowicz is ranked No. 62 in the singles poll. The France native won 55 singles matches in just two seasons with the Longhorns, and competed in the 2015 NCAA Singles Championship.
• Hess-Olesen, Chad Clark and Dimitar Kutrosvsky are the only three Longhorns to finish a season ranked in the top 10 of both the doubles and singles polls. Clark did it twice in 1994 and 1995 with doubles partner Trey Phillips. Kutrosvsky teamed with Josh Zavala in 2010.
• When the Longhorns have a top 10 singles player, they are almost assured a top 10 finish as a team. In the seven seasons Texas has fielded a top 10 singles player, the team finished with a top 10 ranking six times. The only outlier: No. 2 Jonny Levine was a member of the 11th-ranked Longhorns squad in 1984.
• Texas played 14 matches against 11 teams ranked in the final ITA top 25.
