Texas Pom Alumni joins the Chicago Bulls Dance Team
Taylor Cox was a four year member of the Texas Pom Squad from 2012-2016 with a dream to continue her passion for dancing with an NBA dance team. After graduating, Taylor attended auditions for the Luvabulls, the official dance team of the Chicago Bulls. After making it through several of the initial cuts, Taylor made the training camp group. She said that "training week was a lot of fun, but very challenging, quick paced, and difficult. We needed to be able to pick up choreography quickly and perform it that same day. Pom prepared me for the hard work and taught me to not be complacent. You have to earn your spot on the court for the Luvabulls just like Pom. You can't ever become complacent with where you are, you can always grow and be better. Pom also taught me excellent leadership and people skills. I knew how to be an ambassador for Texas and so I knew I could represent the Bulls well."
Taylor has already performed in her first game for the season and had a blast. We are so proud of Taylor for her accomplishments and are excited to watch her continue to perform in her new journey as a Luvabull!
