Turati sisters qualify for main draw at Lubbock USTA Pro Circuit event

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas freshmen Anna and Bianca Turati qualified for the main singles draw at the USTA Pro Circuit event at Texas Tech's McLeod Tennis Center.
Anna Turati earned her place in the main draw by way of her 6-3, 6-4 win Tuesday over USC's Giuliana Olmos. She takes on American qualifier Ashley Kratzer on Wednesday in the tournament's first round.
Bianca Turati competed in the main singles draw's opening round on Tuesday fell to Ana Veselinovic of Montenegro by a 7-5, 6-1 count.
