Los Angeles Sparks sign Texas Ex Tiffany Jackson-Jones

Named All-American at The University of Texas, Jackson-Jones was the No. 5 pick in the first round of the 2007 WNBA Draft.
LOS ANGELES (Los Angeles Sparks Press Release) – Los Angeles Sparks Executive Vice President and General Manager Penny Toler announced the signing of forward Tiffany Jackson-Jones. Per team policy, contract details were not disclosed.
"We are really looking forward to Tiffany joining the team," Toler said. "She brings veteran presence to the team on both ends of the floor."
The 6-foot-3 forward is currently playing in Israel for Maccabi Ashdod and is averaging 16.7 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Named All-American at The University of Texas, Jackson-Jones was the No. 5 pick in the first round of the 2007 WNBA Draft by New York Liberty. She has spent a total of 8 years in the WNBA with both NY Liberty (2007 – 2009) and Tulsa Shock (2010 – 2016), averaging 6.8 ppg and 4.9 rpg with career high 12.4 ppg in 2011.
