Four Longhorns head to Houston to compete in singles and doubles draws.
HOUSTON, Texas — Four University of Texas women's tennis athletes will compete in the River Oaks Country Club Fall College Invitational on Oct. 26-28 (Friday-Sunday). The tournament consists of players from five teams (Texas, Houston, SMU, Rice and North Carolina State) competing in singles and doubles flights.
Senior Katie Poluta, junior Petra Granic, sophomore Fernanda Labraña and freshman Tijana Spasojevic will compete in the 16-player singles draw. UT's doubles tandems of Granic/Spasojevic and Labraña/Poluta will play in separate flights in a round-robin format.
All matches will be held at River Oaks Country Club. Matches will start at Noon Central on Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. Central on Sunday.
