POST-MATCH COMMENTS
Texas head coach Howard Joffe
On the win: Obviously, it's always a good day to win a conference match and always a good day if we're able to beat Oklahoma, with the rivalry and all of that. But if I look at the match substantively, we definitely didn't perform very well in the doubles. Then the singles, I only got to see three of the matches. I thought that the singles play was an upgrade from the doubles, but we definitely need to take a good, hard look. More than anything, you can't always control how well you play but the attitude and sticking to the task leaves a little to be desired. So in that respect, probably a little bit of a disappointing day for us. But with respect to things that people worry about, like the scoreboard, probably a good day for us. We beat Oklahoma.
On a matchup on Sunday at the Texas Tennis Center with No. 12 Oklahoma State: At this moment, we'll obviously get a little bit of practice tomorrow and hopefully get everyone, for lack of a better way to say it, everyone's mind right and ready to go.
