“TJ” debuts on Longhorn Network tonight

LHN presents latest documentary film about Texas Basketball legend T.J. Ford.
AUSTIN — Longhorn Network presents its latest documentary film, entitled "TJ," a comprehensive biography about University of Texas Basketball legend T.J. Ford. Produced by Texas Crew Productions, "TJ" makes its broadcast debut on Friday, May 4 at 7 p.m. Central, exclusively on Longhorn Network.
The documentary, filmed in 2018, examines the life and career of UT Basketball's first National Player of the Year. It looks back at his record-setting high school team, his two seasons at UT, his NBA career and his life after professional basketball with his T.J. Ford Youth Academy.
The film also focuses on T.J.'s impact on the Texas Basketball program, 15 years after he led the Longhorns to the 2003 Final Four.
"I always said that what T.J. Ford did for the state of Texas and beyond, he made it cool to be a Texas Longhorn. That's what he did," said former Texas Basketball head coach Rick Barnes.
"TJ" features original interviews with T.J. Ford, Rick Barnes, Royal Ivey, Brandon Mouton, Brian Boddicker and NBA Hall of Famer, Clyde Drexler.
