USTFCCCA announces 2018 All-Academic Awards

The Longhorn men’s and women’s teams were honored along with 16 individuals.
AUSTIN, Texas - The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2018 All-Academic Awards on Thursday morning. Sixteen Longhorns were honored along with both the men's and the women's programs. Both programs were recipients of the Team All-Academic Award with cumulative grade-point averages over 3.10.
To qualify as an individual for the award, student-athletes must:
>>Maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 and have completed at least two semesters at the nominating institution
>>For indoor, must have finished the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event or in the top 48 in any championship relay event
>>For outdoor, must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships or finished the season ranked in the top 48 for the multi-events
Individuals earning 2018 USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards were:
Men: Logan Emery, George Patrick, Brian Peterson, Jacob Pickle, Barrett Poth, Alex Rogers, Steele Wasik, Sam Worley
Women: Gabby Crank, Haley Crouser, Mary Beth Hamilton, Meghan Lloyd, Shay Petty, Ali Uhle, Georgia Wahl, Ashtin Zamzow
