Annual Horns Up Night set for Wednesday, Sept. 5

Fall 2018 classes are underway on the Forty Acres. To welcome students back to campus, join UT Athletics for a Texas-style welcome to all students with the annual Horns Up Night, a pair of events for every UT student! It all kicks off on Wednesday, Sept. 5 when Texas Athletics hosts the Texas Kickoff Rally at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Learn all about storied Texas Football traditions like BEVO, Smokey the Cannon, and more, as well as hearing from Coach Herman. Students should enter through Gate 8 in the northwest corner of the stadium. Gates will be open at 6:00 p.m. The event is FREE for all UT students.
Following the Rally, freshmen are invited onto the field to participate in the official Texas '22 Class Photo. This photo is the freshman class' opportunity to form the largest Longhorn ever on the field. All members of the Class of '22 are asked to wear burnt orange for the photo!
