The University of Texas Track & Field program continues its indoor season on Friday and Saturday at the Clemson Invitational. The meet begins at 1:30 p.m. CT on Friday and at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday. The Longhorns will compete against Clemson, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Kentucky and UCF during the weekend.
"We had several strong performances last weekend at Texas A&M and we look forward to building off that by taking our team to a great meet at Clemson this weekend," head coach Edrick Floréal said. "This meet will be a great test for our team. The two-day meet format will mimic the conference and NCAA meets, so this weekend will be a good test run for the postseason."

Running in his first collegiate race, true freshman Jonathan Jones won the 400m with an NCAA-leading 46.68. For his effort, he was named Big 12 Male Co-Athlete of the Week. The performance made Jones the No. 8 performer in school history.
