Soccer to appear live Saturday on NBC Premier League Morning Show

The Longhorns will be on site as part of the Premier League Mornings Fan Fest in Austin
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas soccer program has been presented with an amazing opportunity on Sat., Oct. 26, as the Longhorns are scheduled to appear live on NBC Sports as part of the NBC Premier League Morning Show with host Rebecca Lowe at approximately 11:24 a.m. CT.
UT has been invited on site as part of the Premier League Mornings Fan Fest that's occurring in Austin from Friday through Sunday. The Burnt Orange & White are also expected to take over the official NBC Sports Soccer account (@NBCSportsSoccer) tomorrow morning leading up to their live appearance on the network.
Also as part of the weekend, the Longhorns will have the chance to personally meet with the Premier League's all-time leading scorer, Alan Shearer. The prolific English striker scored a remarkable 260 goals during his Premier League career with Blackburn (1992-96) and Newcastle United (1996-2006). He also totaled 30 goals over 63 career caps for the English National Soccer Team stretching from 1992-2000.
