Men's Basketball enters Top 25 rankings of both major national polls

AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Men's Basketball team returned to the national rankings in both of the major national polls released Monday. UT is ranked No. 22 in The Associated Press' Top 25 and No. 22 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches' poll.
This marks UT's first appearance in The AP Top 25 since the Longhorns were ranked No. 17 on Nov. 26, 2018. It also marks Texas' first appearance in the Coaches weekly poll since the Longhorns were No. 17 on Nov. 26, 2018.
Texas (4-0) returns to action against Georgetown in the semifinals of the 2K Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project on Thursday, Nov. 21. Tip is set for 6 p.m. CT at New York City's historic Madison Square Garden, and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
