Aldridge, Turner, Tucker and Allen named to Top 100 NBA players for the upcoming 2019-20 season.

AUSTIN, Texas — A quartet of former University of Texas Men's Basketball players were included in Sports Illustrated's Top 100 NBA Players of 2020. LaMarcus Aldridge (No. 16), Myles Turner (No. 47), P.J. Tucker (No. 74) and Jarrett Allen (No. 97) were selected in the publication's sixth annual list that seeks to define who will be the league's best players in the upcoming season. Kevin Durant was not selected to the list due to his injury.
Aldridge enters his 14th season in the NBA and his fifth year with the San Antonio Spurs. A seven-time NBA All-Star, he averaged 21.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per game while hitting 51.9-percent from the field and 84.7-percent from the free throw line in the 2018-19 season.
Turner begins his fifth season in the NBA, all with the Indiana Pacers. He averaged 13.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while converting 48.7-percent from the floor and 73.6-percent from the free throw line in 2018-19. Turner led the NBA in blocked shots per game (2.7 bpg) last year.
Tucker enters his ninth season in the NBA and his third year with the Houston Rockets. One of the most respected and versatile defenders in the league, he averaged 7.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while hitting 37.7-percent from three-point range in 2018-19.
Allen begins his third season in the NBA, all with the Brooklyn Nets. He averaged 10.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while converting 59.0-percent from the field and 70.9-percent from the free throw line in the 2018-19 season.
