• THE 115th SEASON: The University of Texas tips off its 115th season of intercollegiate basketball on Wednesday night against UTRGV. The Nov. 25th date marks the latest season opener for UT since 1995-96 (Nov. 25, 1995).
• FOR OPENERS: The Horns have won 17 of their last 18 season openers and posted an overall mark of 94-20 in their previous 114 season-opening games. UT has won 18 straight home openers and is 38-5 in home openers since the Erwin Center opened prior to the 1977-78 season. The Longhorns are 99-15 all-time in home openers.
• THEY'RE (ALL) BACK: Texas is the ONLY team in NCAA Division that returns 100% of its scoring, rebounding and minutes played from last year's squad. All 12 scholarship players and one walk-on from the 2019-20 roster will suit up again for the Longhorns.
