• TOUGH STRETCH: Texas concludes a stretch of four games in seven days with Sunday's contest against No. 12/3 Villanova. Texas will play two programs (North Carolina in 2017, Villanova in 2016 and 2018) that have won three of the last four NCAA titles in a five-day span.
• MVP IS CLUTCH: Senior G Matt Coleman III, who earned tourney MVP honors at the Camping World Maui Invitational, hit the game-winning jumper with 0.1 second left to knock off No. 14/16 North Carolina in the title game on Wednesday.
