“Longhorn Weekly with Chris Beard” debuts at Pluckers Wing Bar on Thursday

Fans invited to West Campus location for Coach Beard’s one-hour radio show at 7 p.m.

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Basketball head coach Chris Beard will make his season debut on "Longhorn Weekly with Chris Beard" this Thursday, Oct. 21 from 7-8 p.m. Central. The show is held at Pluckers Wing Bar (2222 Rio Grande) before a live audience, and UT students and Austin-area fans are encouraged to arrive early to the restaurant for seating.

The official one-hour radio show for Texas' head men's basketball coach will feature Coach Beard along with special guests. Craig Way, the Voice of the Longhorns, serves as the show's host.

"Longhorn Weekly with Chris Beard" airs from 7-8 p.m. Central on radio affiliates across the state, including flagship 104.9 FM in Austin, and can be heard on www.TexasSports.com and the UT mobile app. This week's debut show will also be televised Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. Central on Longhorn Network.
