DNA Fund Update

AUSTIN, Texas - It is with great excitement that Texas SAAC announces that we have met and surpassed our goal of $20,000 in fundraising for the Spring 2021 DNA Fund. Texas SAAC and NLP are so excited to have surpassed our goal and what this means for the impact this fund can have on the Austin community.
We, as Texas SAAC, realize we could not have done this without the support of so many, especially everyone who donated to the fund and shared its message with their friends and family. We would also like to give special thanks to our very own Chris Del Conte and his wife for their generous commitment to be matching donors for this first year. Without their generosity, we would not be where we are now, primed to have a big impact on our community.
While we are excited to have reached our goal of fundraising, there is still much to build upon and look forward to. The next few months will be spent working with the Neighborhood Longhorn Program to distribute applications to the schools in our community and work through the process of selecting applicants. This is not the end of fundraising for the DNA Fund. We will still be accepting of donations going forward, in order to prepare for the next year of this fund.
