Track and Field Announce 2023 Outdoor Schedule

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas track and field announced its 2023 outdoor schedule, featuring four home meets at Mike A. Myers Stadium. The Longhorns will host two of the most recognized meets here on the Forty for this outdoor season.
Texas will open the outdoor season at home for the Longhorn Invitational on March 4, one week prior the NCAA Indoor Championships.
The Longhorns will then travel during spring break to Tampa, Fla., for the USF Invitational from March 17 -18. Texas will wrap up the month of March with the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist from March 29 – April 1.
The team will split for the first time when Texas travels to the Mt. Sac Relays/Bryan Clay Invitational on April 12 – 14 and to Gainesville, Fla., for the Tom Jones Memorial on April 14-15.
Texas distance will travel to Stanford, Calif., for the Payton Jordan Invitational on April 21-22, while the rest of the team will travel up the road to Waco for the Michael Johnson Invitational the same weekend.
The distance squad will return to the Penn Relays on April 27-29, while the Longhorns host its final regular season meet on the 29th for the Texas Invitational. The Longhorns distance group will also travel back to Eugene, Ore., for the one-day Oregon Twilight on May 5.
Texas will look to make it three-straight seasons sweeping the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in Norman, Ok., from May 12-14. It will then travel to Sacramento, Calif., for the NCAA West Prelims to close out May from the 24th-27th.
The Longhorns are the host site for the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships from June 7-June 10. It's the second time in five seasons Texas will host the championships.
