Women's 4x400 Relay Earn Big 12 Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas women's 4x400 relay was named the Big 12 women's performers of the week after their historic run at the Texas Relays.
The team of Kennedy Simon, Rhasidat Adeleke, Julien Alfred and Stacey Ann Williams posted the winning time of 3:22.94 in the Sanya Richards-Ross 4x400 relay. The time ranks as the second-fastest time ever recorded in NCAA history.

The time is the current fastest 4x400 relay time in the world this season and marks the first time the Texas women's team has won the event since 2012 at the Relays.
The relay time helped the Longhorns earn Most Outstanding Team award, a title they haven't won since 2014.
