Women’s Tennis tabbed No. 1 in final ITA national team rankings

The Longhorns posted a 26-4 dual-match record and won their second-straight and fourth NCAA team title in program history.
AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Women's Tennis team is No. 1 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings of the 2022 season released Wednesday. The Longhorns registered a 26-4 dual-match record and captured their second-straight and fourth NCAA team title in program history with a 4-1 victory against Oklahoma in the championship match on Sunday evening.
Texas previously won NCAA Championships in 1993, 1995 and 2021. The Longhorns joined Stanford and Florida as the only schools to repeat as NCAA Division I Women's Tennis national champions since 1982.
