Men's Tennis earns ITA All-Academic Team recognition

The University of Texas Men's Tennis team earned All-Academic Team recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the organization announced Monday. Additionally, seven individual Longhorns were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, including junior Nevin Arimilli, freshman Pierre-Yves Bailly, senior Richard Ciamarra and sophomores Micah Braswell, Evin McDonald, Eliot Spizzirri and Eshan Talluri.
It marks the third straight year the team has received the honor, while individually, it is also the third consecutive for Arimilli, Spizzirri and Talluri, and the second-straight for McDonald and Braswell.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team GPA of 3.2 or above (4.0 scale), all student-athletes included must be eligible, and all varsity letterwinners must be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, a student-athlete must have a GPA of at least 3.5 (4.0 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
